HIGH TORQUE ENGINEERING, Ltd. began its life in 2008, as the successor of High Torque Fasteners Systems, Ltd. that was initially setup to investigate concept design ideas targeted at the sheet metal assembly industry and associated markets.

The company was based on an original concept design that was patented around the world. The HIGH TORQUE design was created by a world demand for reductions in material, inventory, labour and processes and of course the ever increasing demand to protect the planet from waste and environmental damage.

The HIGH TORQUE design is radical, controversial and challenges all existing ideas regarding strong flexible joints manufactured in malleable materials. Built on best practice and recognised international quality standards has lead to the company winning multiple awards.

The challenge for the company was to create a cross discipline company filled with talented people specialising in everything from product design, CAD CAM, press tool design and third party testing to the ultimate development of finite element analysis.

Commercially the company enhances existing production techniques and creates supply alliances that allowed it to penetrate and deliver what is becoming a new world standard in many countries around the world. Based in South Wales and using the latest communications techniques but retaining the ability to talk one to one to customers and manufacturers.
